Aghori

At Pen:

An Aghori, draped with human ash, long matted hair, with a skull performing the ritual in front of a dead. An usual representation of them, an occult path which usually involves necromancy, intoxication, sex and other forbidden practices which in the society won't be dare to be named.

This is an aspect of Indian religion always projected as an unwise, easy to achieve path mostly chose for black magic. Its paradigm of dogma which our society is based on provokingly fails to understand the practices.

According to Indian Culture there are infinite ways to achieve the ultimate path which we usually meant by "Moksh" or "Mukti" from the cycle of suffering. In regards to that Aghora is one such path.

Aghora comes from a Sanskrit word Aghor meaning beyond terrible, that means they are beyond the judgment of right or wrong, love or hate; they treat the dead and alive or the food or faeces the same way. By achieving this they crave all the boundaries and aims to become the absolute life.

Aghora is a practice misunderstood and malpracticed, it, in its purest form is mysterious and deep, deeper than the deep which can be understood only by the one who lay aside the cultural clothing and plungs into it naked can dive into its depths.
