A Price Tag
At pen : Aishik Sarkar
This is after ages that I have touched you;
Generally you are there dangling between my fingers.
Stuck amid the nested loops and conditional statements.
Stuck in Life's various Amendments
The hope that I will find you still Lingers
Have I really found you?
Amidst every fleeting joy and with each sweat,
I hope to come near you;
A desperate attempt to reach you?
People say you are the highest aspiration
Shall I dare to argue?
Instead of highest aspiration?
OR Should I be attending the deadlines?
OR should I wait till enlightenment shines?
Why can't it only be you?
Is it necessary to carry a prize tag beneath you?
Why are you confined at the end bell at Lunch?
Why are you confined in the 4'o clock of the day?
Why are you at the night's bay?
Should I dare to call you a constant companion?
