Keeping the momentum of Day 1, India was ready to take on Indonesia for the Round 1 of Day 2.
On Board 1 and 2,
Viswanathan Anand VS Susanto Megaranto.
Vidit Santosh Gujrathi VS Farid Firmansyah.
On Board 3 and 4,
Bhakti Kulkarni VS Medina Warda Aulia.
Harika Dronavalli VS Irine Kharisma Sukandar.
On Board 5,
Praggnanandha R VS Gilbert Elroy Tarigan
On Board 6,
Vantika Agarwal VS Ummi Fisabillish.
Result-
India beat Indonesia by 4.5-1.5 where Vidit Santosh Gujrathi along with Bhakti Kulkarni and Praggnanandha R won their matches. Viswanathan Anand Sir, Vantika Agarwal and Harika Dronavalli settled for a draw.
Starting with the legend himself he had a comfortable position with a slight advantage but no break through was tempting resulting in a draw, it is so awestrucking how far he evaluates the game.
The next match was about our captain who from the opening had a solid position but in the Midgame his opponent had an advantage where Vidit offered a draw but seemingly was declined. Thereafter Vidit pushed for a win and improved his position until he won. What an example, he is surely leading from the front.
On board 3, Harika had a quite calm game settling for a draw.
Toh her other partner on board 4 had a dominant position with which she took a risk which didn't go well. None the less she came back and won in a comprehensive fashion.
On board 5, there was no doubt about the abilities of our prodigy boy and he with a dominant game secured a victory.
On board 6, Vantika had a rough game but ultimately drew the game by three fold repetition.
After round 1, India was still on the top of the table followed by China and Germany.
On day 2, Round 2, India was about to face Iran the most challenging match for India till now. India with their undefeated streak announced their players for the round.

On board 1 and 2,
Viswanathan Anand VS Parham Maghsoodloo.
Harikrishna Pantala VS Amin Tabatabaei.
On board 3 and 4,
Humpy Koneru VS Sarasadat Khademalsharich.
Harika Dronavalli VS Anousha Mahdian
On Board 5,
Nihal Sarin VS Aryan Gholami.
On Board 6,
Vantika Agarwal VS Anahita Zahedifar.
Results-
India beats Iran by 4-2
Starting with a beautiful game between Viswanathan Sir and Praham Maghsoodloo, Sir went for a classic opening but those central pawns and the way the were marching he was able to hold until one move went wrong which ended up him resigning by Viswanathan Sir. But though we lost the first match it was a treat to watch as their were so many variations possible.
Coming on the board 2, Harikrishna transferred to the end game and his moves made his position better and better and it was a treat to watch the way he played outplaying his opponent move by move.
Humpy was able to secure a quick draw as either of them are such a talented player, they were able to analyze the game.
Harika had a very comfortable game with a dominant win against Anousha Mahadian.
Nihal drew the game and was quite successful in holding the position.
Vantika played extremely well wining the match.
India still being at the top undefeated had to face Mongolia who are considered the dark horse as they were very close to drew against China, score being 3.5-2.5.
Day 2, Round 3
On Board 1 and 2,
Vidit Santosh Gujrathi VS Bilugunn Sumiya.
Arvindh Chithambaram VR VS Munkhgal Gambosures.
On Board 3 and 4,
Humpy Koneru Vs Munguntwul Bathuyag.
Vaishali R VS Batchimeg Tuvshintugs.
On Board 5,
Praggnanandha R VS Batsuren Dambasuren.
On Board 6,
Divya Deshmukh VS Munkhzul Davaakhuu.
Results-
India drew against Mongolia.
A turn of events for India, India was seemingly dominating all the boards until Vaishali had a mouse slip as Rh1 was obvious as it defends the bishop but she misclicked to Rg1. Moreover the Vidit and Humpy lost their internet in a dominant position. Vidit had a comfortable end game and Humpy had a nice position with a pawn up.
But there is a good news as Divya destroyed her opponent winning in around 15 moves h4 followed up by h5 was simply to difficult to handle.
Arvindh too won with a brilliant game.
Whereas Praggnanandha taking revenge of his sister loss with an amazing win.
After Day 2 Round 3,
China crossed India being Undefeated.
India rolling down to 2nd position, followed up by Germany.
India will be facing tomorrow Georgia, Germany and China and if India wins all the matches he wll be able to secure 1st place and qualify directly to the quarter finals.
