SPECIAL POST ON INDIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

India is a big country. It is known by different names such as Bharat, Hindustan and Hind. It is a rich country in natural resources. Our country is an independent and is the best example of unity in diversity.

India is rich in its culture and tradition. India has many states. Each state has its own culture, religion and language. There are various religions that are followed in our country. Here, people of different religions and casts also live together. All the religions are respected equally.

Uniqueness of India is in its mythology. There are many gods and goddesses who are worshipped here. India's culture is quite different from the rest of the world and is unique in its own ways. Trees, Rivers, sun, star, moon etc are all also worshipped here.

Various languages are spoken in India like Marathi, Bengali, Panjabi, Tamil, Tamil, etc. Apart from that, there are mountains like Himalayas in the northern side of the Indian subcontinent. There are many rivers flowing in the country that are providing us with water.

Every country is made of its own people. People of India are now having their own place in all the countries of the world. They are known for their hard working skills and intelligence and tolerance.

India is also rich in minerals, agricultural products, spices, textile and etc. Handicrafts of India are well known all over the world.

India is now growing at a very fast rate. It is competing with other big countries in the world. India's potential has been recognized by many well known companies that are now coming to India for their business.

India is also one of the biggest democratic countries. We should be proud of our country and thank God for being a part of it. It is our own responsibility to respect our motherland and its culture....

So, do you know why I told you so much about India, I should have said about Independence day. Well much because, Independence day is celebrated because of the Indian personalities who fought and gave up their life for their motherland. And in my opinion, before knowing about Independence Day we should first know everything about our country and it's culture.
