Team Atverts wishes Mahendra Singh Dhoni a very happy birthday! Here’s a letter that has been penned down by a member of the team.

Dear Mahendra Singh Dhoni,

I have witnessed all kinds of cricket enthusiasts in my home. The four walls of my home have seen pseudo selectors and trainers who would discuss the pros and cons of every player while sipping over hot tea and reading morning newspaper so, while writing this letter to you, I didn't have to Google much facts as my grandfather made it a point to coach me in this arena.

The name 'MSD' has become a mantra we tell to ourselves every time when we see you play. In 2004, the world saw the onset of a twenty three year old coolest batsman it has ever seen. Ranchi basked in satisfaction that that its name will be counted one more time in the chapters of history for it has contributed one of it's brilliant child to the world.

I have always loved to see your interviews. I am a diehard fan of cricket undoubtedly but when cricket and Dhoni strikes together in my mind, I love you more. I cannot quote the exact number of records or statistics you have made because numbers and me don't blend in well. But when they say 'finisher', your name instantly shoots up in my mind and reminds me of the helicopter shot that turned into an overnight craze.

A teenager loving Dogs, enjoying football slipped into the most fanatic game of our country stirring up a kinetic flow of anticipation and attention, as high as the skies, when you remain in the field.

With your fantastic demeanour and brilliant skills, you've made our hearts taste only two words when cricket chimes in our mind i. e '' Dhoni, Dhoni ''
