The Best Days, no matter what

Open sky. Bonfire. Beer bottles and cigarettes on their hands. Finally, after so many days all the cousins got to spend time with each other. He took a sip from the bottle and asked, "Di, don't you feel suffocated and boring sometimes? You study in an all-girls' institution, do you girls talk anything except boys?" She smiled and dusted the ashes off her cigarette. She took a long puff and then said, "Why do you think it is suffocating and boring to study in an all-girls institution? And also, we definitely don't talk about boys all the time! Yeah we do summon each other with our crushes surname, but sometimes. The half an hour lunch breaks at the school, the short tiffin breaks at college, the library periods are the best times. I've also noticed that we, who have studied in an all-girls' institution, are more open about our body, menstruation and homosexual lifestyle. We even know few of the basic self-defense, few basic techniques of self control and we are more determined. We never distinguished ourselves from any other because we never really felt in that way except for few things. It's the institution and our upbringing which matters the most. I think I busted a big myth now, let's keep it till here and sleep tonight, it's late." Everyone wished each other goodnight and went off to sleep. She smiled after coming to the bed, that night she kept on reliving her past memories of her school and college days. Those were the best days.....indeed. And a message popped up from her girl gang on WhatsApp, "Yo girls, what's up!?"
