The world is literally running at full pace. Most students are bombarded with homework, tuitions, exams, events and school. Now, Covid-19 has at least given us some time to spend with our family and ourselves. After this pandemic ends and everything gets back to normal; one may feel that 24 hours a day is not enough for all their tasks. Students will forget what physical activities are, and even their own sleep!
Time management helps to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of a person. Individuals who practice good time management are able to achieve their goals in a shorter period of time. For good time management you need to set your goals correctly.
Poor time management can have negative effects and may feel like all your time is being wasted. Let me give you an example of bad time management. You make a ‘To-do list’ and a routine list; then decide to stick to it and hope that it will help you be successful. Sadly your entire works end up pending and you are rendered clueless about what went wrong.
For good time management you need to prioritize all your tasks. Important works are to be done first. Set a shorter time limit than usual for each task. Then challenge yourself to complete the tasks before the assigned time. You should make up for the loss of time which is taken up by unexpected situations. Always plan ahead. Also do not entertain unnecessary events. Take short 10 minute breaks after each task.
Always remember, time management cannot be set by others. Only you can set everything and feel the great effects of time management. Some effects can take a while to show. This will also help before exams as students will be studying the subjects evenly throughout the year and not be cramping every matter into their brains one day before exams. In this world marks are everything; so, students will be happy to see their marks higher than ever before.
Time management can be implemented by everyone. This will make one very happy and not anxious about their pending works.
