On World Rose Day
Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells anywhere in a body. Cancer develops when the body’s normal control mechanism stops working. Old cells do not die and instead grow out of control, forming new, abnormal cells.
But when there's a will, there's a way:
Yeah, that's right. The way is World Rose day:
To those of you who don’t know, World Rose Day is celebrated on 22 September each year for the welfare of Cancer Patients. It's main motive is to support the cancer patients so that they can fight the disease with strong will & strength. Moreover, on this day people all over the world are made aware of this dangerous disease & all are told to stay away from it.
But the most important question is how did this day start?? Well there's one interesting story behind the establishment of this precious day:
There was a 12 year old Cancer patient from Canada called Melinda Rose & she was suffering from Askin’s Tumour, a rare form of Blood Cancer. The doctors said that she would not live long but she lived for approximately 6 months more & during this time instead of losing hope she enjoyed each day of her life & took care of all the people around her by making all of them happy. She gradually touched the lives of all the people around her in an unforgettable way. She wrote letters, mails, prepared cards, gifts & so on. World Rose day is dedicated to her so that all of the Cancer patients have a will & spirit like her.
So all of you "BE positive & behave positive"...
